I recently visited Kiesler Defense in Jeffersonville, Ind. Kiesler provides products and services for law enforcement professionals including safety training and first aid kits. I met with representatives from Kiesler to discuss firearm safety and safety equipment.
During the interim, I enjoy the opportunity to meet with people and discuss new ideas that will be helpful when crafting legislation. As a member of the Education Committee, I am always looking for ways to better our schools for the benefit of our young Hoosiers.
During my meeting at Kiesler, we had an interesting discussion about safety equipment and emergency kits that could be something we consider for use in schools.
The safety of our teachers and students is a top priority for me. I look forward to continuing to find ways to maintain safe schools in Indiana.
